Family Palace Treasure Hunt (Dec. 14)
Family treasure hunting is a great way to share the best moments with your children. Exploring a garden, getting lost in its winding paths, and being surprised by giant trees, waterfalls, and ruins can be a lot of fun.
Monserrate is a historical romantic garden made to appeal to our senses. Together you will experience nature fragrances, infinite tones of green, the sensation of the cork oak bark, and the moist moss. The sounds of water go along with the sloping trails and birds sing joyfully everywhere.
This dynamic activity is led by a park guide and consists of the following clues to discover the right path that will lead the families to the expected treasure. You will go through the park In between there are simple visual tasks to solve with the support of the parents, knowledge to acquire and the most successful explorers will be able to reach Monserrate’s dream palace and discover its secrets. You will go through the lush evergreen park of Montserrate and also its exotic 19th-century palace.
All ages are welcome, so we welcome families with younger children, but the activity is designed mainly for children aged 5 and over.
The park’s trails do not allow pushchairs.
Date: Saturday, December 14, 3 pm – 4:30 pm
Meeting Time: 3 pm
Location: Park of Monserrate
Meeting Point: Main entrance of Monserrate Park
What to wear: Be prepared with non-slip footwear and clothing suitable for Sintra’s climate
What is included: Guided family treasure hunt through the romantic gardens of Monserrate, interactive tasks for children, knowledge acquisition, and discovery of Monserrate's 19th-century exotic palace and its secrets.
What is not included: Transportation is not included (We will meet directly at the main entrance of Monserrate Park. An Uber costs approx. 5€ from the EC)

Terms & Conditions: Once purchased, this trip is non-refundable unless we are unable to find a suitable date during your stay in Sintra due to weather conditions. The trip's date may change based on the weather forecast. If we cannot arrange a trip during your stay, you will receive a full refund.
