Farm Adventure Day: Discover & Learn (Aug. 10)
Welcome to Fattoria Baugiano, where education meets adventure amidst the beauty of the Tuscan countryside: the farm, awarded by the EU for its educational activities, is a small multifunctional agricultural company that develops projects to convey to children and families the love for nature and the countryside, through engaging experiences. Baugiano, that as an organic farm respects the environment and is autonomous from the energy point, has welcomed families and schools for almost 20 years with workshops and educational activities on food, traditions, sustainability, inner growth immersed in nature.
Today, embark on an unforgettable Educational Farm Day filled with exploration, interaction, and delectable farm-to-table dining.
Schedule of the day
Warm Welcome: Upon arrival, Baugiano friendly staff will greet you and provide an overview of the day's activities, ensuring everyone feels welcome and ready to explore.
Educational Workshops: Get your hands dirty with interactive activities designed to immerse yourself in the farming experience, covering topics such as cheese making, cereal processing, or animal care, where you can learn through hands-on experience. These workshops will be decided on a later date based on the weather and seasonal products.
Farm Tour: embark on a guided tour of the farm, where we’ll encounter a variety of animals, learn about their habitats, and gain insight into the daily operations of a working farm.
Farm-to-Table Lunch: Enjoy a delicious farm-to-table lunch featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients. You will have the opportunity to taste the fruits of the land while appreciating the connection between food and farming.
After lunch: feel free to join the last activity of the day or to explore the farm at your leisure.

Transportation: At an extra cost of approximately 15EUR per person.

Kindly be aware that acquiring a ticket for the experience + taxi is important to ensure we make the necessary reservation at the taxi company. The taxi expenses will be the responsibility of each person, payable directly at the driver.
