We offer two different types of services to suit different needs, ensuring a personalized and professional experience every time:
Shooting in the Historic Center of Pistoia
For families, couples, friends, individual, accompanied by a professional photographer who, with a discreet eye, will capture your spontaneity and emotions. Not a traditional photo shoot with constructed poses, but a true visual narrative of your Tuscan experience. The delivery of the photographic story in digital format is included, along with a fine paper box containing 10 photographic prints, 10x15 format, signed by the author.
Old Portrait
In this immersive experience, participants become the subject of a vintage portrait session, where they witness the creation of their image through a traditional analog process, using a self-built late 19th-century camera that also functions as a darkroom. Guided by a professional photographer, they’ll see their portrait slowly come to life in the darkroom. The final result is a signed, numbered 10x15 silver gelatin print—a unique, handmade work of art to cherish forever.
Wine & Photo
The Wine & Photo in Pistoia’s historic center offers a unique opportunity to visit a charming home-studio, meet an artist and her curator, and hear stories about the city’s past. Guests will enjoy a tasting of two organic wines with Tuscan bread and olive oil while browsing art books and photography. Each participant will also receive a signed fine art photo as a keepsake.
Some words about the photographer
The shootings will be led by Maria Di Pietro, an Italian artist and graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, where she specialized in Photography under the guidance of historian Ennery Taramelli. Passionate about visual storytelling, she has developed her craft through photojournalism, publishing in national and international magazines. Her work balances research and documentary photography, enriched by encounters with figures like poet Alda Merini. Featured in Fotografia Ribelli as one of 33 female photographers who revolutionized the field, she continues to explore themes of inequality and poetry. Her recent projects focus on photography and travel, particularly the role of the female flâneuse in Paris.
Old Portrait is created by Fotografia Minutera Itinerante with photographer Maria Di Pietro and curator Felisia Toscano—a project born to promote and share the ancient silver salt photography technique through unique experiences.

How Does It Work?
Request: Send your request on Slack, indicating the date, the hours you will need the service and the number of people. Please note: we kindly request that you submit your request at least 3 days in advance, ensuring the photographer is ready for your chosen time slot.
Confirmation: After receiving your request, we'll reach out to you through Slack to confirm the shooting service.
How Much Does It Cost?
The rate for Shooting in the Historic Center of Pistoia is 288€/hour and for Old Portrait is 144€/hour. Both services will last one hour.
The rate for Wine & Photo is 110€ for 2 people and 220€ for 4 people. The service will last one hour and half.
Terms & Conditions:
Shooting in the Historic Center and Old Portrait are exclusive to the purchasing family and cannot be transferred. Wine & Photo is exclusive to the individuals who purchase it (even if they are not from the same family) and is also non-transferable.
We understand that plans may change, and you may need to cancel a scheduled photography session. To ensure transparency and fairness, please note the following conditions:
Cancellation requests made more than 48 hours before the scheduled session will be eligible for a full refund.
Cancellation requests made between 48 and 24 hours before the scheduled session will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the session's cost.
Cancellation requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled session will result in a cancellation fee of 100% of the session's cost.
