We’re excited to welcome kids aged 4-7 to our after-school program where play is at the heart of learning! Across 8 playful sessions, children will jump into activities that build essential motor, social, and cognitive skills—all while exploring basic Portuguese in a natural, interactive way. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s in store:
Dance & Movement: Fun, energetic activities that allow children to express themselves through rhythm and body movement. They will dance to music, learn simple steps, and explore different ways of moving, such as hopping, skipping, and spinning.
Loose Parts Play: A creative, open-ended play space where children can manipulate a variety of objects to build, explore, and invent new games.
Traditional & Group Games: Traditional games help develop social skills, turn-taking, and teamwork. Activities that encourage children to learn about cultural games from different parts of the world, expanding their social understanding and cooperation skills.
Music & Songs: Children will learn songs in Portuguese, practice listening skills, and engage in music-based activities with instruments that promote language learning, memory, and concentration.
Through both structured and free play, we aim to foster confidence, independence, and a love for learning. It’s a blend of fun, discovery, and growth in a safe, outdoor setting—giving kids the freedom to explore and thrive!
Schedule: Every Monday starting January 20th from 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm

Minimum Participants Required: 4
Maximum Participants: 15
Materials Needed: Weather-appropriate gear, such as waterproof jackets, rain boots, rain suits to ensure you're prepared for any conditions.
Note: Please be informed that there will be no ECAs during the week of February 10th to 14th due to the mid-cohort break.
