Family Trip to National Park Skadar Lake (Sept. 29)
National park Skadar lake is the largest freshwater lake in Europe, and the primary playground for over 280 types of birds. The adventure starts in the old village of Virpazar and the splendid boat ride across the lake finishes the trip at the picturesque fishing village of Krnjice. This small village is ideal for birdwatching, swimming and fishing. There will also be a delightful lunch with all the local cuisine characteristic to this region on a magnificent balcony that overlooks the lake.
Schedule: Sunday September 29 from 10:30am - 6:00pm
Meeting Point: EC (bus ride of 1.5 hours along the coast to Skadar lake)
Transportation included: Yes
What is included/not included: Bus Transfer, the boat ride across the lake and lunch. Any fees such as the National Park entrance (5€ per person) would have to be paid on own account.
As this is a long day, please remember to take water, swim gear & sunscreen, hat and snacks.
